The Ecumenical Commission for Human Development (ECHD), rooted in Christ’s teaching on human dignity, stands in solidarity with Pakistan’s poorest and most marginalized. We work inclusively with all creeds, cultures, and communities, empowering individuals to claim their rights and actively participate in society. Guided by transparency and stewardship, we equip communities with skills and resources to address their challenges. Our strategic focus includes disaster and emergency relief, empowerment and rights advocacy, capacity building for churches and partners, and policy engagement. ECHD amplifies the voices of vulnerable groups, fostering justice, peace, and transformative change through collaboration and storytelling.

We have built shelter homes in different regions so children can move out of undeveloped areas to live, study and work in bigger and better cities.

Children and youngsters who are exploited in their early days need a helping hand and support for their mental health. We take them out of this zone to give them a better life.
